Information we collect
- Newsletter sign-ups: your email address, only if you choose to subscribe.
- Messages you send us: your name, email and anything you include when you use our Submit form or contact us.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device and pages requested, recorded automatically by our hosting provider for security and reliability.
- Aggregate statistics: page view counts that are not tied to individual readers.
How we use it
We use this information to send the newsletter you asked for, reply to your messages, keep the site secure and running, and understand which stories readers find useful. We do not sell your personal information.
Third-party services
Our site is hosted and protected by Cloudflare, which also runs the spam check on our Submit form. Fonts and some images may load from third-party providers, which may receive your IP address and browser details. Embedded players and posts (Spotify, SoundCloud, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok) and links to ticket sellers are governed by those companies' own privacy policies.
Data retention
We keep newsletter addresses until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Submissions are kept as long as needed to respond and follow up. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting.
Your choices & rights
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or limit the use of your personal information. Email us to make a request.
Children
EDM Notify is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
